$17.7 Million Rehabilitation Completed At Lauderhill Point, A 176-Unit Affordable Housing Community In Lauderhill

Fairstead has completed a $17.7 million rehabilitation of Lauderhill Point, a 176-unit affordable housing community located at 3146 NW 19th Street in Lauderhill, within the Miami-Fort Lauderdale metropolitan area. A ribbon-cutting and community day event was held on August 13 to mark the milestone, with residents joined by local elected officials including Lauderhill Mayor Denise Grant, Commissioners Melissa Dunn, John Hodgson, and Richard Campbell, as well as City Manager Kennie Hobbs and Assistant Manager Sean Henderson.

Originally built in 1973, Lauderhill Point is home to more than 640 residents across 23 two-story buildings with a mix of two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments reserved for households earning up to 60 percent of the Area Median Income. Fairstead began rehabilitation efforts in the first quarter of 2024, completing the work in the second quarter of 2025.
