Fairstead Celebrates Season of Giving in Houston with 400 Turkeys for Local Residents

In addition to the turkey distribution, Fairstead announced a new partnership with Houston Community College to provide GED scholarships to residents

HOUSTON, TX (November 20, 2024) – Fairstead, a purpose-driven real estate company, marked the season of giving this year by providing 400 turkeys to residents at our Houston-based communities, Yale Village Apartments and Coppertree Village Apartments. The event in Coppertree Village was also attended by Councilmember Tarsha Jackson, who assisted with handing out turkeys. 

In addition, Houston Community College joined the celebrations at both communities to share information on a key partnership that will now offer free GED classes for residents thanks to Fairstead-funded scholarships.
