Fairstead acquires 200-unit Tampa apartment complex, plans renovations

A 200-unit affordable apartment complex in Northeast Tampa has been acquired.

Fairstead, a New York-based real estate company that focuses on improving affordable housing, acquired Silver Oaks Apartments for $30.7 million, a representative confirmed to the Tampa Bay Business Journal. The complex, located at 4200 Kenneth Court, will undergo a $24 million in-unit and exterior renovations to all apartments and shared spaces.
