Fairstead Celebrates Thanksgiving with Annual Turkey Drive for Essex Plaza Residents

Fairstead partnered with local elected officials to hand out 450 turkeys to the Newark-based community

Newark, N.J. (November 22, 2024) – Fairstead, a purpose-driven real estate company, celebrated the season of giving this year at our Essex Plaza community in Newark by distributing 450 turkeys to residents. The event was held in partnership with Assembly Member Pintor Marin and Councilmembers Luis A. Quintana and Michael J. Silva. 

 “Fairstead is deeply focused on positively impacting our communities through resident events and social services, with our turkey drives being a highlight of this work every year,” said Estelle Chan, Senior Director, Development, at Fairstead.
